Meshmixer imported the model with no damage or strangeness to the edges. ![]() ![]() And had printed perfectly to a Makerbot 2x previously. The edges were perfectly flat or crisp as desired in the original STL file. The model had strange degradation around all the edges, not easy to fix manually and no obvious way to auto-correct in Blender. ![]() Even cutting my monitor's effective display down by half did not compensate enough, the menus and tools were very hard to read, so small.īlender had 2 drawbacks that pushed me to use Meshmixer for the final model.Ģ. ![]() I am using a SurfaceBook with monitor resolution of 3000x2000. I will partially answer my own questions:īoth (neither) were able to adapt their UI to a high resolution monitor.
